Work Methodology
Our spa design philosophy centers on a rich experience of a journey that takes the guest from one
dreamlike atmosphere to another. We start by understanding and analyzing our client’s needs and
requirements, then we propose creative ideas, concepts and designs that exceed our client’s
expectations. Our architectural and interior design team begins the concept design with pure
functionality and efficiency in mind, then they enhance it with the creative mood and ambience, essential
in a high-end superior spa. Functionality starts with logical space planning that enables comfortable
user-friendly and natural human traffic flow. This aims at keeping the guest mentally relaxed and aware
of his or her location in the spa at any stage of their journey, without needing a super sense of direction.
Then comes the distribution of spa facilities and spaces as per the requirements of each project. After
functionality comes creativity: Our designers create a theme that leaves an impression of an
unforgettable spa experience in the heart and mind of the guest.
SuperSpa specializes exclusively in the spa and wellness business. Therefore, we provide investors and owners in the hospitality and spa industry with everything related to the development of a spa in a total solution package. The scope of the package could range from concept to detailed designs in every aspect of the spa: architectural, interior design, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and so on, as well as all related specifications and bills of quantities. To plan for a successful investment, we prepare full and comprehensive studies associated with all areas of the spa business that lead to a feasible investment and operation. For spa operations, we present our clients with the option of direct spa management, or management assistance in pre-opening tasks, recruitment, training and audit.
From the initial stages of a new project, we conduct preliminary studies to assess its feasibility, and accordingly, we prepare a realistic business plan. We strongly believe that these studies are what dictates all the design decisions. Based on these studies we work on a theme, concept, and detailed design. Specifications, bills of quantities, tender drawings and tender documents are done in collaboration with local consultants, in each country we work in to ensure full adherence to local legislation. We represent our client in all implementation stages of the project to secure the highest level of quality control and fine touches.
We often work on turnkey DBO (design build operate) basis. We can also act as specialized
subcontractors for specific spa facilities especially pools, thermal facilities, wet areas, supply of
materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. We have the technical know-how and have a strong team
of technical experts. While the spa is being constructed, we work on all pre-opening preparations by
supplying operating tools, towels, robes, consumables, etc. We also assist our client in operating the spa
by recruiting and training the highest standard of staff, starting with a qualified spa manager and other
staff such as therapists, receptionists, sales and marketing team, housekeepers and so on. Alternatively,
we manage the spa completely for and on behalf of the client if he prefers so.

Our professional approach is to mainly focus on market research and analysis to determine the project’s target market. Then we assess how well the spa will fit in its location and how it is expected to perform. We analyze and structure the investment from a financial and business perspective, and create a business plan that heads towards success. Following this, we proceed towards designing a spa that is compatible with all studies and their conclusions.
